Prof. (Retd.) Dr. Jawaid Ahmad Khan is a plant virologist and molecular biologist with over four decades of research and academic leadership. His work has focused on plant viral diseases, genome editing, RNA interference, and transgenic technologies, contributing to advances in agricultural biotechnology.
He has supervised doctoral and postdoctoral researchers, led government-funded projects, and published extensively in international peer-reviewed journals.
